Second Life Virtual Architecture 'Ironmans Virtual Home'
The Virtual representation of Ironmans home built by Abacus Mimistrbell in Second Life.

According to a conversation Abacus had with a common friend of mine in Second Life RamessesIII Pharaoh, he told him at that time it was not even close to being complete at this stage. Quite a build by the standards in Second Life. Extraordinary to say the least. At the time of my last visit he still mentioned then he still had a lot of work to do before it is complete.I can't wait. I will provide an update when I re-visit the home.
This house virtual house is a replica of the house used in the film IronMan. I wonder if he will add more to it. The second Ironman film is also due to be out this spring. I wonder if they will use the same house? Abacus didn't have much to go by because basically the house does not exist and he only had two images to go by from the film to come up with this design. I think he did a really wonderful job putting this together.
Hollywood is known to use certain architects in their films and this home reflects the work of a famous architect named John Lautner. I did find a photograph of a home resembling the face of the home used in the film and the one built here. his work is all over the Internet. That roof line was very difficult to render I'm sure.
